Clinical psychology involves the application of psychological principles to assess and treat individuals with mental health needs, general health issues and disabilities including:

· Feeding and Eating Disorders
· Disruptive, Impulse-Control and Conduct Disorders

Comprehensive assessment involves a range of methods including interview, psychometric testing and behavioural observation before arriving at a ‘formulation’ (a hypothesis explaining behaviour) that informs management strategies to promote psychological wellbeing.
Neuropsychology involves the application of scientific understanding to the relationship between the brain (effects of injury or diseases) and individual's cognition (thinking), emotions and behaviours.
Neurodevelopmental (e.g. intellectual disabilities, attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder) and neurogcognitive disorders (e.g. dementia) fall within the scope of neuropsychological assessment.
